A vibrant and flavorful grilled chicken marinated in tequila and lime, perfect for summer barbecues.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ranch dressing for brushing
Instructions
- Combine the tequila, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl.
- Place the chicken breasts into a large Ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them.
- Seal the bag, releasing as much air as possible, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Cook the chicken on the grill for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
- Flip the chicken and grill for an additional 6-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Brush ranch dressing on the tops during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Marinate overnight for enhanced flavor. Use an air fryer or oven as alternative cooking methods.
