Description

A flavor-packed ground beef burrito with seasoned beef, rice, black beans, cheese, and salsa wrapped in a warm tortilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and sizzle, breaking it apart until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Season it up by sprinkling in cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to infuse the flavors.
  3. Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl, mixing the seasoned beef with warm rice, black beans, shredded cheese, and salsa.
  4. Warm the tortillas in the microwave or on a griddle until flexible.
  5. Assemble your creation by spooning a generous amount of the beef mixture onto each tortilla and rolling them tightly.
  6. Serve hot with extra salsa, guacamole, or sour cream on the side.

Notes

Eat with complementary dishes like Mexican Street Corn, crispy tortilla chips, or a simple green salad.
