Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix the dry ingredients: whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well combined.
- Combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually, mixing just until combined.
- Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden. Test with a toothpick.
- Make the frosting by beating together cream cheese and butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Frost the cooled bars and cut into squares to serve.
