Description

Experience the magic of a homemade hamburger with juicy beef patties and customizable toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
  • 4 hamburger buns (brioche or whole wheat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Barbecue sauce (or your favorite condiment)
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, mixing gently to avoid overworking.
  3. Form the beef into patties, slightly larger than the buns.
  4. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  5. Add cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns for 1 minute until golden brown.
  7. Assemble your burgers with patties, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onions.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade hamburger!

Notes

Consider using ground turkey or plant-based patties for a healthier option. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
