Description

Delicious Lebanese stuffed pita pockets filled with seasoned ground meat and aromatic spices, perfectly grilled to a golden crisp.


Ingredients

  • 4 Pita Bread
  • 1 lb Ground Meat (beef or lamb)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground meat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and spices. Mix until fully incorporated.
  2. Cut the Pita: Carefully slice each pita in half, creating pockets to fill with the meat mixture.
  3. Stuff the Pitas: Generously fill each pita half with the meat mixture.
  4. Brush with Olive Oil: Use a basting brush to coat the outside of each stuffed pita.
  5. Heat Your Grill/Skillet: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook Until Crispy: Place the stuffed pitas on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  7. Serve Warm: Once cooked, serve immediately.
