- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by placing your medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt completely.
- Once melted, whisk in the flour and allow it to cook for about one minute until it bubbles slightly.
- Gradually pour in the milk while whisking continuously.
- Slowly stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until melted.
- Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. Reheat gently with a splash of milk.
