Description

A comforting chicken and rice casserole, featuring gooey cheese, tender chicken, and fluffy rice, baked to perfection for a nostalgic family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked chicken, cooked rice, half of the cheese, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbling.
