Description

Indulge in these Soft & Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Bars that offer a delightful combination of nutty oats, warm spices, and plump raisins.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease your 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, and honey or maple syrup in a large bowl and whisk until smooth.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Add oats, flour, cinnamon, and salt, folding gently to combine.
  5. Fold in the raisins until evenly distributed.
  6. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan, pressing down lightly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

For variations, add chocolate chips or nuts. These bars can be made in an air fryer as well.
