- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease your 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Combine melted butter, brown sugar, and honey or maple syrup in a large bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Add oats, flour, cinnamon, and salt, folding gently to combine.
- Fold in the raisins until evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared pan, pressing down lightly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
For variations, add chocolate chips or nuts. These bars can be made in an air fryer as well.
