Description

A creamy, flavorful fusion of spicy salmon and sushi rice, topped with crispy nori and garnished with fresh ingredients, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 lb salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 sheets nori, cut into strips
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Avocado slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Combine it with water in a pot and cook according to package instructions.
  4. Mix the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce in a bowl until well combined.
  5. Spread the cooked rice evenly in a greased baking dish.
  6. Layer the salmon mixture on top of the rice, pressing it down slightly.
  7. Cut the nori sheets into strips and sprinkle them over the salmon.
  8. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  9. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and avocado slices if desired.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can prepare the rice and salmon mixture the night before, then layer in the baking dish without baking it for a quick meal the next day. Adjust sriracha according to spice preference.
