- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 lb salmon, cooked and flaked
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 sheets nori, cut into strips
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Avocado slices (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine it with water in a pot and cook according to package instructions.
- Mix the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce in a bowl until well combined.
- Spread the cooked rice evenly in a greased baking dish.
- Layer the salmon mixture on top of the rice, pressing it down slightly.
- Cut the nori sheets into strips and sprinkle them over the salmon.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and avocado slices if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
You can prepare the rice and salmon mixture the night before, then layer in the baking dish without baking it for a quick meal the next day. Adjust sriracha according to spice preference.
