Description

Delicious and comforting Strawberry Crumble Bars with a buttery oat topping and fresh strawberries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Add melted unsalted butter and vanilla extract, stirring until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half of the mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish to create a crust.
  5. Layer the chopped strawberries evenly over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top of the strawberries.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or refrigerate for about a week. Wrap each bar in plastic wrap for freezing.
