Description

Deliciously soft and chewy cookies bursting with fresh strawberry flavor, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Fold in the mashed strawberries.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and enjoy!

Notes
